Chapter 5

1. Why did Scout went to look for Miss Maudie Atkinson these few days?

Answer:
Dill started to grow closer to Jem and will only call for her if they need a third party. Miss Maudie admitted into her confidence and whenever Miss Maudie made cakes, she will also made three small cakes for Jem, Scout and Dill and will call for them.

2. Why did Jem attached a note to the end of the fishing pole?

Answer:
They wanted to make Boo Radley come out of the Radley Place sometimes by mentioning that they want to buy him an ice-cream.

3. Why did a Dill keep on ringing the bell with all his might in Atticus's face?

Answer:
They did not tell Atticus that they were looking for Boo Radley and Atticus told them before to
leave Boo Radley alone. They were afraid that Atticus will be angry with them and might scold them.



Chapter 6

1. Why did Jem and Scout went to look for Dill in the night and where did Dill suggested to go?

Answer:
It was Dill's last night in Maycomb and Dill suggested to go for a walk.

2. Why did Scout followed them along but find it suspicious when Dill mentioned that he want to go for a walk?

Answer:
Scout believed that nobody in Maycomb just went out for a walk so she want to see what are they up to.

3.Why did they choose to go and peep at Boo Radley in the night?

Answer:
It was dark at night so nobody can see them and it was easier to see inside a dark than in daytime. Atticus would be deep in a book in the night and Scout believed that Jem thinks that if Boo Radley killed them, they will miss school instead of vacation.
