Opinion: Burris Ewell isn't a very hygiene person, also not very considerate for his classmate. His classmates might catch cooties too. It is not an easy job to get rid of cooties.
Cooties means a louse or any germs and contaminmants.
Louse plural:(Lice) It feeds on skin debris, feather parts, sebaceous secretions and blood. It have adapted to have features like stout legs to cling on to feathers, fur and hair. Louse usually grow
up to 8mm in size.
Atticus sat down in the swing and crossed his legs.His fingers wandered to his watch pocket; he said that was the only way he could think.
Opinion: At atticus time people are most likely to be still using pocket watch. It is weird when he said it's the only way he could think.
Watch pocket is mostly use to keep pocket watch, which it made to carry in pocket. It is the most common watch in 16th centuries. Pocket watch have a chain attached to it.
